This work covers some ground on Womenhood, Sex and Religion. The work is in progress and attempts
to question the fact that God has always been portrayed as a long haired bearded Father:how different would society be if God was a woman?
Girls' School is directly related to the time in which we live, in an atmosphere of violence and restraint. Out of restraint comes creativity.
'I spent my highschool years in a conservative convent run by french nuns in South Africa. It was during these years of conformity and restriction I decided to be an artist. Instead of pledging a vow to marry the Lord, I pledged a vow to stay loyal and true to the art inside myself.'
